How Disc Golf Travel Hub uses your details

Scope

This notice explains how Disc Golf Travel Hub (DGTH, “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information through the DGTH mobile app, this website, and related support communications. For questions about this notice or your information, contact us at support@discgolftravelhub.com.

Information used in the mobile app

To create and secure an account, we use your email address, account identifier, display name when you provide one, and authentication information. Authentication is provided by Supabase; DGTH does not receive or store your password in readable form.

For lodging discovery, booking, and hosting, we use information needed to operate the service. This can include a guest’s phone number, booking and stay details, a host’s contact email, listing text, availability, amenities, listing photos, and lodging location. A listing’s public location may be shown for discovery; an exact lodging address is shared only as needed to fulfill a paid, confirmed stay.

Payments

Payments for lodging are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects card-entry information in its payment flow. DGTH receives payment, refund, and booking status and identifiers needed to manage a reservation; we do not receive or store full card numbers. Lodging is a real-world service consumed outside the app.

PDGA event information

DGTH retrieves authorized PDGA event information server-side to help users browse relevant tournaments. We display required PDGA attribution and links. We do not send your DGTH account, booking, or payment information to PDGA for this purpose.

Community inquiries

When you send an inquiry, we use your name, email address, selected community path, optional tournament or location, and message to respond and follow up about that inquiry. The team receives the inquiry by email, and we store it so the team can manage the conversation.

Optional updates

Checking the updates box is optional. We add your email address to the DGTH updates list only when you choose it. You can unsubscribe from DGTH Updates at any time.

Analytics choice

On this website, if you accept analytics, we measure only the approved community-entry funnel events, such as opening the flow, choosing an interest, opting in to updates, and whether an inquiry succeeds or fails. We do not record inquiry message content, names, email addresses, automatic page views, or automatic click capture. If you choose “No thanks,” website analytics remains off. We remember your choice for up to one year.

The DGTH app may use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for crash diagnostics when those services are enabled in the release. PostHog may receive a DGTH user identifier, role, and account or authentication events. Sentry may receive diagnostic, device, and app information needed to investigate reliability issues. We do not use either service for advertising or cross-app or cross-website tracking.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to operate DGTH: Supabase for backend services, authentication, and storage; Stripe for payments; Resend for transactional and support email; and, when enabled, PostHog and Sentry for the purposes described above. We share booking and contact details with the relevant guest or host only when needed to arrange or fulfill a stay. We may also disclose information when required to comply with law, protect people or the service, prevent fraud, or respond to a valid legal process.

Retention, security, and your choices

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, manage bookings and payments, address disputes, protect against fraud or safety issues, and meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. We use access controls and service-provider safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

You can request account deletion from the DGTH app or contact support. Deletion requests are reviewed manually and are normally completed within 30 days. We may need to retain limited information where there is an active booking or host listing, or where retention is required for payment, legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping reasons. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, subject to applicable law.

Children

DGTH is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as DGTH changes or legal requirements evolve. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date.
